As projected 120 million electrical vehicle on road by 2030, and growing global legislation for urban zero emission, the needs and innovation for the integration of vehicle to grid infrastructure and energy management ecosystem has expanded outside of traditional automotive industry. Continually evolving international & regional standards and on going harmonization; complex connectivity among various eMobility actors; cyber security demands for secured information and safety; demand for high quality and reliability of vehicle charging control products; complexity of EV architecture and EV platform variants management are the challenges that automotive industry is facing. Understanding the challenges and foreseeing this trend and needs, KPIT has established not only software product components which compliant to various international standards, but also the integration framework with existing AUTOSAR software stack aimed to accelerate vehicle charging software development for global automotive OEMs. In this presentation, we will discuss the global trend and how to formulate complex software integration framework to accelerate vehicle charging communication and control software development.
Attendees will gain knowledge on various aspects of EV charging ecosystem, global charging communication standards, technical challenges and complexity of software implementation from EV perspective in meeting various requirements, and strategic architecture and software components to ensure product quality and future upgrade.
