Implementing ultrafast lasers to take advantage from athermal laser processing

The application space for ultrafast lasers in battery manufacturing is wide spread: foil cutting, coating removal and surface texturing are some examples, where ultrafast lasers can excel over other technologies with their ability to sublimate material with high precision without causing undesired side-effects such as excessive heat affected zones (HAZ), melt or dross formation. To obtain maximum quality at high throughput, flexible laser sources with advanced features are required to get the most out of respective processes. We will discuss those special laser functionalities and how they enable you to efficiently use the power of the laser in your manufacturing task.
