OEMs have invested 10s of Millions of dollars in the development of vehicle architectures and built up massive know how/expertise in ICE Centric vehicle development and production. While the data strongly points towards a shift to Electrification, the rate and model mix is not as clear. How can OEMs effectively develop capable HV Battery Enclosures and the adjacent Body Structures in light of an uncertain mix of xEVs (BEVs, PHEVs and HEVs) and what role are upstream composite material technology providers playing in managing that shift?
Panel will address:

  • Complex Structures and Interaction Between Systems
  • New Market Entrants w/o Legacy Products but, Lack Supply Chain and Resources
  • New Technical and Regulatory Requirements
